There are many resources available to church congregants including an Employment Team, Management and Leadership Training Seminars, and various teams that help build professional skills.

Employment and Career Development: The Employment Team was created in the mid 80’s when Bro. Hawkins saw the recession looming and the job market tightening, and made a concerted effort to shield the people from the impact of the economic downturn. The team and services it provides has experienced many transformations over the years, but the goal of assisting the church with preparing for and obtaining employment is a constant. Since inception, the Employment Team has helped hundreds of individuals find meaningful employment, and career advancement through some very turbulent social and economic times.
The Employment Team provides technical and professional help to the unemployed and/or underemployed of all ages, service include:
- Application and supplemental questionnaire assistance
- Instruction on how to network
- Preparing for job interviews
- Resume and cover letter writing
- Job searched resources
- Job listings
- Workshops
- Computer lab
- Career counseling referrals

Management and Leadership Training Seminars: The Training and Development Team provides seminars and workshops focusing on business management and improving leadership skills. The leaders who support church operations attend training sessions to help them manage their specific functions and develop positive communication and management skills.
