Tenets of Faith of the Body of Christ

1. We believe the Bible (King James translation) is the authenticated Word of God. 2. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ and that there is no salvation in any other name. 3. We believe in the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of Christ. 4. We believe in a born-again experience from the old life in Adam to the new life in Jesus Christ. 5. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. 6. We believe in the Baptism of Water by immersion and that it is essential to all believers, and must be administered by an ordained authority of the church. 7. We believe in the Eternal Invisible God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 8. We believe in the Millennial Reign and Rule of Jesus Christ with his Bride over the earth. 9. We believe in the Second Coming (soon) of Jesus Christ for the reaping of his Bride out of the Church. 10. We believe in a life of holiness and sanctification unto the Lord, and only this class of people will reign with him. 11. We believe in the Resurrection of the Dead; both the Just and the Unjust. 12. We believe in the miracle working power of Jesus Christ through divine healing; even after doctors have given up. 13. We believe in eternal life for the righteous and death for the wicked. 14. We believe in the restoration of the Church; back to the same order of the Church that came out on the Day of Pentecost. 15. We believe in marriage and that believers should have only companions of like precious faith. 16. We believe in God’s divine government for the Church and that the Church is one body with apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. 17. We believe in the best form of school on Sundays (not Sunday School) with an ordained ministry as teachers of the Bible, and that we must have an understanding of the Holy Writ.

18. We believe in a House of Prayer for all of God’s people, where God is no respector of persons.
